So I went over to Springfield last night and met up with NJ Mopar Group and the SRT Tour.

It was good fun, great people, and great cars.

The guys (and gals) heading up the SRT Tour and driving the cars around the country really know what they are talking about and all of them are actually SRT Track Experience instructors and have been for some years.

They were all really excited when I pulled up in the SRT. Several pictures taken, and John took a quick video of my impressions of the event. I even got a twitter shout out (HERE) and a picture on their FB page (HERE)

The new lineup is really a step up from previous generations and I would recommend everyone going out and checking them out if they are in your area. HERE is their upcoming schedule.

I may be putting down a deposit on one in the near future...hope some others do too...Just don't get rid of your Crossfire

 

I saw the black SRT on twitter but didn't know it was yours. You're right driveSRT are great ppl. We got to meet a few at this year's WDC.

 

Yep, it was mine...if it hadn't rained for the past four days straight it would have been a lot cleaner.

 

Yep, you guys on the east coast must have really p!ssed somebody off............car looks good anyway...I'm glad driveSRT RT the post back to me or I would have missed it....

 

they were here in belvidere il a couple weeks ago.The new lineup does look fantastic and like you said a big step up.Besides the srt6 i have an 06 srt charger.There is no comparison to the 2012 models thats for sure

Looks like October 3rd in INDY....OK, Indy/Indiana XF's... time to suit up, and go for a visit... Let's roll in in numbers...I will take both of mine...and that is hard to do...lol...who's in?

 

Daytona, FL September 15th! That's only next Thursday! Wonder if they will still be here the weekend of the 17th?

 

In the five weeks they have already been on the road, they said I was the first SRT6 to show up. Guess it is time for everyone to come out of the wood works and show them how we roll.

...someone needs to see if you can get Jim (AMX1397) to go to one of these to show off his new toy under the hood.

Haha, good point. The four people driving the cars really loved the crossfire though. One of the guys, John, said he loved doing the track events and would love driving the SRT6 because he would take customers out for hot laps and not a lot of people wanted to go with him...


...and the ones he did he said he, "gave them the ride of their life". Haha.

 

They also did a quick interview with me about my car when they hit upstate. We went for a pretty aggressive ride through the mountains with the srt guys. It was a blast!
