Default Next Mod; Manifolds or Pulley?

I have the thermal dual cai, themal lower y, and xstream filters so my decision for the next mod is tune/pulley or tune/thermal manifolds? I am leaning towards the manifolds but I want to get the horde's opinion.

Thanks

Wow, that's one I can't answer with confidence. I'd go pulley and tune though. I've got to ask, the thermal coated dual CAI .... tell me all about it.

Pulley and tune for performance. You have sunk a lot of money into the engine. Do not fail to overlook upgrading your brakes. Worst feeling is sailing into a turn and having no brakes.

forget brakes, look at cooling if you add a pulley that supercharger is going to get mighty hot.

That supercharger can be cool, but if you can't stop you wont have a supercharger to be worried about

Its very cool to be able to touch the metal not too long after the engine is off and not cook your hand, so I'm a believer in the thermal coating

I've got the iso kit on my SRT and saw a pretty signifcant drop in running temps after install. The intercooler runs so hot that it affects the fluid that is cooling the engine, therefore, separate it and voila! cooler engine temps.

Fairly easy install. The hardest part for me was getting the air out of the system after install...I'm still not sure if I have it all out.

The mani's create more volume for more boost. Without a pulley, you are still at stock... So, pulley and tune, or pulley, mani's, and a tune...better yet...it's only $$$$$$$....

so does that mean the mani's limit boost or the pulley? or is it determined by both? so if you had a 185 pulley making 28psi it could potentially make 30psi with the upgraded manis. Learning slowly so be gentle

Cheers,

Michael

The other way around Michael, the larger mani's produce less boost but flow more volume that results in the HP gains.

Easy answer is pulley/tune. But if you have an extra $1500 lying around..................

Pulley and tune is a no-brainer.
