Default 1st Mod

Ive decided to start with a new set of wheels and tires, then the cai, chip, brake rotors/calipers, then onto the pulley, and exhaust. Hopefully it will all happen in that order and should have most of it done by the end of the summer or closing time next winter. My only question right now is about the cai since thats where im really starting with performance. Clearly everyone raves about the needswings intake. Now im debating between the single and the dual. Advantages disadvantages. Mostly install. Is the dual intake worth the hassle? Also what is the advantage of the needswings vs competitor or a DIY kit? I noticed the dual is like 800 on their website!!!!!(it would bring a to my face) Roughly 400 for the single...is the additional 400 nodticeable in performance. If so im ok with that.

Sounds like you have a great plan , I wish u happy modding but I would give you just a little advise ,STAY AWAY FROM THE CHIPS I repeat NO CHIPS . ....Eurocharged is the word you need to write down ,and after you get your mods in place give them a call . then u can thank me ...... Good luck. Dual from Needswings (Rob)

Here is my question about eurochatged then. Id like to be able to actually turn off the traction control completly. Id also like to get a better response out of the autostick as well. Is this something that eurocharged is able to help with?

I have several people that have systems(not crossfires) that actually turn of their traction control AND their ABS when the button is pressed. This would be nice if it were available. Not saying it would be used often, but the option is there for him.

Also, he has a very fast response time with his auto stick. Its a dodge charger with waaaayy too many mods to list. He is running mid 11s. But there is no hesitation when he tries to switch gears.

Go to post 10 on for TC ESP and ABS off.

Get a sprint booster for throttle response.

the dcai is that much better than the single cai, both rock, just the dcai rocks that much more. the first thing for your car should be the oil catch can kit though! stop the oil coating issue as soon as possible.

its nothing new. oil fumes are recircultaed back thru the throttle body to be reburnt to satisfy emissions. rob has developed a plug and play oil catch can the routes the fumes thru a container with stainless steel media to collect the oil particles and send the cleaned fumes back to the t/b. when you change your oil you simply remove the mount bolts of the can raise it up and use the drain at the bottom to remove the oil. i get 1 to 2 ozs. of oil at every change. thats a huge amount thats NOT being sent thru the s/c and manis to be reburnt

Catch can should be mandatory.
I had my TB off for cleaning at 46,000 miles before I put the catch can on and took a peek inside the manifold.
YUUUUCK !! Lots of oil coating in there.

Does anyone know of a way to clean it up ( without removing and washing the manifold ? )

catch can description is here
NeedsWings Crossfire Oil Catch Can Kit
shoot me a message with any questions you may have, you do not need the intake manifold gaskets if you have small fingers as you can sneak around the intake manifolds instead of removing them to do the catch can install.
