need help with modification shopping list please
I picked up an '05 black srt6 for a great deal a couple weeks ago that is bone stock. She needs tires and a tune up but has really been fun to drive and now I have the bug.
I have been busy reading for about two weeks about all the mods that everyone has done. I am impressed with how objective xfire owners feedback appears to be and appreciate all the knowledge and experience that has been shared.
I am trying to decide what and when to do what and would like suggestions. I would appreciate help and suggestions with the list below to be prioritized, added to, recommendations against, etc. I did not prioritize the list below, just colored the items that I think I would like to do first and second. I realize that everyone will have a different direction and motivation depending what the goal is going to be with their xfire. I do think however that we would all like to increase power and handling while trying to maintain dependability and efficiency.
For my personal agenda I am hoping to first, get the right stance and look with wheels, tires, and suspension. Then it will be performance mods in a sensible order. I, like most of us, have a budget and would only be able to invest slowly through the year. I'm not sure how practical my wants are but I eventually would like to have the already fun and fast srt6 modified into a car capable of excelling in rally, drift, drag, and street racing (safely of course).
I made the list below, then added it up...... Didn't realize the mods would be more than the car. There are no short/long block mods either, all bolt ons. This doesn't even include stopping the modded xfire with upgraded brakes! I guess the term, if you want to play you gotta pay applies.

My 2 cents
!!!!!!!!!!!! Read ALL the sticky notes on this forum !!!!!!!!
Make sure to protect yourself and your investment 1st.........tires, steering stabilizer, catch can, rust on doors, up grade lubricants ect.
Make sure the sticky key issue has been taken care of.......
Then I would make sure I was happy with the appearance, unless performance of your srt-6 is not enough to keep you happy untill the funds are available.
Remember your srt-6 has the power all us na driver only dream of

Welcome to the group hope you enjoy your xf and all your new friends as much as I do.

Wow, you want t go all out. Nice!
I noticed you listed the Sprint Booster as a second-to-do mod. I say save your money. The tune from Eurocharged will increase the throttle response.
You also don't really need the adjustable camber arms until you lower the car. Unless, of course, your rear camber is already not to your liking.

you may consider starting with Needswings duel intake , a supercharger pulley or a crank pulley either one,, and a tune, and there you have spent under $2500 but I would also add the wavetrac which now puts you approximately $3500. good louc and injoy.
The lowering springs and the brakes is up to you but with these mods you don't really need to change any of that. Jim

i would go about things a different way. do the must have fluids first. then add a datalogger. then cooling mods. then intakes and pulley and then a tune. everything doesnt have to new, theres many deals to be had with cash watch for them
Depends what your goals are and what you plan to do w the car. Id recommend Intake, tune, pulley, nw downpipe with e cutout. Meth, Slicks and wavetrack and call it a day.
