Doing some mods tonight.
OK OK, enough is enough. I have had some mods lying around since last fall and I am finally going to start on them tonight. Tonight I hope to install the NW DCAI, Fluid Isolation kit and the NW Catch Can. I also have a leaking valve cover so I plan on doing that at the same time.
This weekend I hope to accomplish the new exhaust down pipes and the pulley kit.
I have the instructions provided by Rob at NeedsWings so I hope all goes smooth. Does anyone have an idea of how long the installation of the CAI, CC, IK and the new valve cover seals should take me? I have limited space in my barn (it is over crowded with toys) so I do not want this project to get out of hand on me and block my access to my other vehicles. Can I do this in one evening?

Wow. I suppose it depends on how capable you are. Sounds like a small plate and a lot of grits to me.
But, I'm a crippled old fat man...

No you are not Max.....but I am. It took me the good part of a day to those installs... Keep a band aid ready, that dual CAI can get you squeezing the tubes through...lol
OK goythe old air box out and trying to remove the plastic radiator pass-thru piece. It is held in place with two clips.
Anyone got a good way to remove those close? They are tight. I do not want to just Yank them out.
I am moving on to CC and CC gasket until I get back to the clips.
Any hhelp is appreciated

you need to regroup. no sense installing dcai if your doing valve covers. dcai has to be removed to valve covers. start there do the catch can then the dcai. iso kit can be done anytime
Well spent about three hours total got the valve cover gaskets on but not torqued down got CC mounted. Spent more time than expected on cleaning the engine bay. Hope to get torque numbers for valve covers tomorrow and finish the CC. Will look at those pass thrus again. I think they are going to be a pain

Sliding the plastic intake parts around and they just come out, on my NA and the SRT I loosened the pipe clamps and moved the pipe out the way. Getting back in is the b!tch.
everything you need is right here. happy searching!

Thanks crazy, now I have some resources to reference. Tonight I finished the vc and CC. What a pain in the @$$ that little hose is to slip onto the TB. Hope to finish up the cai tomorrow morning and get over to a buddies shop who has a lift for the exhaust.
Well I finished the dcai and the isolation kit this morning. Didn't get to work on it Saturday due to some unexpected guests. Had a great time with them anyway. Did not get to the shop on Saturday so exhaust We ill be another day. I believe someone could do all of the mentioned mods in one evening. However that person is not me.
