Well, you all have good points. The $20k car isn't out of line considering it is all stock, low mileage, garage kept collectable. $14k isn't out of line for a daily driver. It depends on the buyer, and what he has in his budget, and what he is looking for. I think the price range has a large swing for the SRT6's. Just the way it is. If I had the the $$$ lying around, I would pay $20k for the DR's car...I wouldn't pay $14k for a high mileage daily driver. That is the kind of buyer I am...the next guy will be different. AT least we all like our cars....except those doing the selling...lol
Jim, who do I make the cashier's check out to? LOL....

Yeah, yeah.... That's what I get for not getting enough sleep when sitting up on the computer, writing messages....
In a way, it emphasizes my original point though, still. I mean, it's hard to believe the Camaro was out of production from 2002 until 2009 and yet you STILL see them on pretty much every street corner around here!

But my Crossfire remains unique in her small world.
Yes, fewer than 1,000 SRT6 roadsters ever made. No collector market.
I got mine for $15K in December 2010 from a no-name dealer in Sacramento with 60K on the clock. Nobody on this forum remarked on its being advertised, though it was up for almost a month before I bought it. It has been my daily driver for 35K miles since, with the only out of the ordinary maintenance being the fan relay.
Am I lucky? Yes. Every used car is a pig in a poke, and don't forget even transferable extended warranties do not last forever. You will spend money on maintenance whether you buy that garage queen or not. Your greatest difficulty will be finding a reputable shop that knows how to work on your car.
Okay, your greatest difficulty will be learning how to drive it tamely and wiping the permagrin off your face when you don't.
I wish you the best of luck in your search and after, and welcome to the community.
