I would dare to say that a psk from
Needswings for a sc pulley and correct installment no problems should occur with this belt. (Green branded one) what psk are you using Rudy when having taken all your testing? Would you say my statement above is somewhat ok?great job on making this happen for the XF community.

Good luck w/ that. Is that aluminum? Did they use a smaller OD bearing like the Karmen pulley, or use a OEM size bearing? Personally, I'm waiting/hoping that the makers of the Karmen pulley do another build soon. With Rudy's stamp of approval, and all the favorable reports so far, this sounds like the one to have.

Thank you. Size matters. have not got a clue about anything else. Just know that the 64.7 mm batch 2 is doing great. Rather go EC way then any other. But that is just me, small wiener small pulley.

speaking of pulleys ....

I just got a box of pulleys including a smooth flanged pulley (to replace the plastic pulley directly to the left of the supercharger in order to re-route the belt under rather than over) . And, an alternator reduction pulley.

ok, just heard about this, i will go through our records and see who bought a pskc3 in the past few months and they will get an email about a pulley exchange if needed. if you do not have an email from me by tomorrow night please contact me, as the paypal guys will be harder to track down than those that ordered thru our website (for those that have not yet installed them). If your car is running the setup right now please contact me asap and ill get a new pulleys shipped out tomorrow. rob@needswings.com

btw, the instructions were in the email with your tracking number

I put the mock-up pulleys on my spare motor (along with the 62mm sc pulley).

alll in all, I like the amount of wrap. I need to change the smooth-flanged pulley so that it can accept the factory bracket (and then put less load on the SC casting). The Underdrive alt pulley in the pic is one I made for my other SLK32 (with a 181) so it is larger than the current underdrive pulley I am making)

I was a paypal guy.... Let me know as I installed it, but haven't driven it, since I haven't finished wiring up all the sensors for the zeitronics...

Wow, Chris, those pulleys are not only attractive but well thought out. I couldn't imagine any more wrap than what you've got there.

I purchased a PSKc3 from Rob recently. When I opened up the e-mail and read through the instructions it seems that pulley #3 in the diagram and picture is the 90mm one that is being replaced by the 100mm one?

btw, Thanks Rob for taking the time to talk with me the other day about all the goodies that you are sending me.

And in cmz's pic the one that he found at napa is the one that Rob will replace and is shown in his first picture pf three above?

In the end I realize it doesn't matter since all the pulleys will be 100mm anyways, just ocd.

Not to sound condescending but this is your first post and you're asking about the bearing type of this pulley? If you want that info, you'll have to buy one.

Sorry for being so direct. Yes my first post here. Usually writing on mb forums.

I am very interested with this pulley build. I have built a couple of my own SC pulleys using stock bearing but never with a different bearing. Thats why I asked.

Where could I buy this pulley? Was it a limited build or are these stock items?

My apologies and welcome to the forum. Which car do you have? Getting back to the pulleys, these weren't built to be a limited production deal but they aren't really a stocked item either. There are a few left over from the group buy and when those are sold, more will be made but they won't be available right away. They can be purchased via PayPal HERE. Price is $750 plus shipping and there a few in stock.

Take care

C32 with few custom modifications. Intake, sc pulley, custom exhaust etc. Mostly I write on my country specific mb forums but read regularly international forums.

My need for new pulley is not immediate since winter has landed here in the arctic circle and car is in the garage for 4 - 5 months. I will consider ordering the pulley. Thanks for the information.
