Cris, put me down for two. Jessie got two of your pulley saver kits (one for me) and we really like them and show them off. Great work! I will fund all when you request. Thanks

Will it still allow the standard engine shroud to be put in place?

I noted in the photo the engine cover is removed...but....there seem still to be OEM air filters in place...
stock air filters with a smaller pulley....???

Glad to hear you have been enjoying it and enjoying showing it off.
Cheers,

Staurt, Good question ... are you considering buying one? (that would kill your status as the person who has asked me more questions than anyone else ... who never ended up buying anything ... : )

I appreciate your concern (concern?) about an aftermarket pulley being used a with stock intake ... but fear not, it is an SL55 intake and is just fine. If you post some pictures of your engine compartment I would be happy to share some commentary with you (err... um ... i meant concerns).

Getting to the question about engine covers ... the proto interfered with the slk32 engine cover slightly ... the production part was changed to remove this minor interference (to the extent that it could be relative to maintaining reasonable part thickness and a safe gap from the SC pulley). My hope is that it will not be an issue, having said that however, I have not tested it with an SRT-6 front cover (which appears to be shaped differently in this area); perhaps I can find one locally to test fit the production version on it as this might be important to a user who runs the engine cover. I, however, do not run a front cover as I like to see the pretty pulleys (jk) AND MORE IMPORTANTLY keep an eye on the "dog-bones" and rivets of the SC pulley (as I have already had a factory pulley come apart on my SL55 which would have certainly gone "catastrophic" had I not witnessed it wobbling and removed it).

Am I wrong in assuming this will fit a c32? If it will I'll take one.

Just some info for you Chris. I am replacing a "factory" wobbling "crank" pulley today. I will post some photos if I can get the Iphone to work. It has "age" restricted operations at times. Later.....

Jim, thanks, but my Cl65 is a twin turbo V12. It doesn't have a supercharger. Maybe we can get Rudy to fit one to it though.

Through to keeper.... Is that like strike one in baseball? LOL.....

BTW, a family emergency came up last weekend. This weekend we will install the crank pulley and inspect the 62mm pulley for damage.....

I'm on the fence on this.

I probably should, but I haven't even changed from the stock pulley yet
