is the nw belt wrap kit recommended with this pulley?

 

The NeedsWings PSK is not a requirement but I highly recommended because it increases the contact area between the belt and the pulley to minimize the amount of belt slip and with it you will get the best performance gains from the smaller diameter pulley.
