I'm not gonna bash the C6. I'm sure it is a fine car. My reasons for choosing the
SRT6 are mine, but I am willing to share. I'm interested in several categories.
Performance, Styling, Uniqness, Price, and feel. I loved the styling of the Crossfire,
when it first came out, but thought the car under powered for its looks. I've never
been impressed by the All Go and No Show offerings. But I heard rumors of a
beefed up performance model, so I waited.

At just over 3000 lbs., a Hp rating of 330 (which I tend to agree with most .. I think ..
is a bow to MB and is really closer to 350), and the gearing structure this car had a
lot of potential. And the styling is absolutely awesome. Contrary to others here, I
am completely enamored with the fixed wing. I find that the car is extremely stable
in high speed cornering (I believe reviewers stated if out sloamed everything in its
class), it'll turn on a dime with one of the shortest turning arcs I've ever seen and I'm
quite impressed with its traction in both starting off and turning. And to think I can
take this car to 400+ with just a chip and pulley change. Top end not high enough,
it is computer controlled, and like all good computers it can be reprogrammed. I
suspect this car could easliy run 180+ if the electronic governor was removed.

Price wise, sure there were other cars in the class that were cheaper and more
expensive. I got mine for just over $40k, and bang for the buck, I think I'm hands
down a winner. Sheesh, why did that fellow I saw the other evening by his Porsche
Carrera S? The SRT6 surely showed itself the equal, if not the better car in street
performance, yet his ride starts around $68k for the base model.

And I've seen several examples of his car running around town, but I've yet to see
another SRT6. You know, I really love that aspect, but I've got to ask you guys... Are
you crazy? This car rocks! Look at the lines, it's built for downward force. It has a
hungry look, that is classy, yet menacing. When I look at this car, I know I'm looking
at a car that is a real head turner. I get compliments wherever I go. Babe magnet,
I think I could easily pickup half the young ladies I've talked with while being in the
car (I'm happily married, so I don't bother). In my opinion, it has a stance that the
'vet hasn't had since 1967. It seems everyone has a 'vet, Mustang SVT, Porshe,
or MB. BMWs by the hundreds and on every corner a 350z or an RX8. But this
car is unique, and it performs.

Interior, there are always things that could be added or changed, that is the nature
of opinion. I think it would have been easy enough to add a second cup holder...
but, then again, I rarely have a passenger. So the seating material is not real suead.
This looks and feels the same, and I really do like the design of the seats. I find it
quite comfortable, yet responsive enough that I can feel the car while driveing. I
don't want a seat that divorces me from the driving experience.

Anyway, as stated above, these are just my opinions. Everybody has one, but I'm
telling you. If you haven't driven this car, do so. You will be extremely surprised.
