More an SLK32 thing...Just finished my Dash Rebuild/Paint...
over at benzworld for anyone interested.
Getting her ready to sell. I just finished my SLK230 dash repaint.
I'm pretty pleased with it....
It was also a trial before I tackle the SLK32 colour change from anthracite to scarlet 227. Still looking for matching leather though.

yes - that remains to be seen - but the guys over at mbworld have been using this stuff for a few years.
colour match is perfect (if you know your colour code).
I tihn one key is not to put it on too thick.
Oh well will see.
It's gotta be better than chipped patches ...where you buckle in, put keys in ignition ....etc...
Probably not the best solution MB have ever came up with.
The coating on cars these days (a particular interest of mine ;>) lately) seems much more resilient but still with that rubber/leather feel.
You're a little more careful with it after you have painted it yourself I suspect.
Just keep the kids crayons away.
