How much is it to replace a intercooling pump on srt?
The pump is about $125 plus install, if you have access to a wrench head, its a 2 hour Job to jack up, pull wheel, wheel house cover, fluid, hoses, connect wires, swap pump and reinstall and bleed air out. If it new to you could be twice that time, not hard just turn the crank sorta work. For one that has done it once, its easier to do another. Enjoy Woody

Billy BOB, I took your idea and did the hot water testing in addition to comparison of the upgraded 30 series pump versus the 90 series. The testing showed the pressure capability versus the flow for both. I also did the test of the stock h/e.
I will get to doing the release of the hot water testing per YOUR IDEA. I circulated hot water in the IC and sucked air thru both the parallel and stock IC units. The results need YOUR review as it leaves me fuzzy, I dont get the outcome. To be released this week. Enjoy Woody

Well Done! They are great cars.
I have never regretted buying my SRT-6 and have enjoyed every second of ownership. The people on this forum are totally awesome and have provided me with a lot of knowledge and help since my purchase...

Hey MissSilky,
There are actually 2 popular options for pump replacement. The Johnson CM30P7-1 that Rob @ Needswings sells is the more heavy duty type pump. It requires rewiring the connector and would cost more for the install. I just replaced mine with the other popular model, the Bosch 0392022010, which is an updated version of the OEM pump. It's a simple plug and play install. Bought mine online here:
Mercedes Auxiliary Water Pump - Bosch (OEM) 0392022010 | FCP Euro
Welcome to the Permagrin crowd and get yourself a FuzzBuster. I know you'll need it here in FLA. Mine has saved me almost daily and has paid for itself 100 times over !
