Ok, so now i am hearing a strange noise when i get to about 20-21 mph. I was driving normal and once i hit about 20 i hear this buzzing/grinding noise. Once i get past about 22 it goes away. I have no idea what this could be or even where to start but it sounds bad. Any ideas?

Are all your original symptoms mentioned before, now gone? Starts on the first try, no loss of power, etc.? Re: Noise @ 20mph; The only thing I can think of that happens at that slow speed and then stops is the automatic door locks engaging? What has Firestone done to you now?

yes, all my other issues seem to be fixed. It runs fine just makes a strange noise about 20 mph. Its not the door locks, it sound like its coming from the engine.

The SC clutch engages around then too, but I'm sure you know about that little chirp noise it can make.

Could you record it somehow(device taped in the engine compartment),and post it up here? Perhaps someone here could troubleshoot it after actually hearing it.

I can try, i dont think i would have anything to tape in the engine compartment, but i can try to record it from inside and see how that turns out.

Not so much "wrong one" as possibly inferior one..
Note - there's a WK720 getting around as well - I can only presume this is not the correct part number - we should be looking for the 002.477.30.01 or WK720/1

Meyle was his inferior part brand in that link.. close enough to Mahle to sneak in a few extra sales I bet.. LOL
