Final estimate on my car!
The appraiser from Geico and the collision department got together and it seems the final bill for my crossfire will be $12,437.89 all that for hitting a curb can you believe it? They are replacing the whole front suspension, transmission (which was torn apart) a few body panels, and new wheels and tires. I think I may take the money that was aloted for the wheels ($1900.00) and buy some aftermarket wheels. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I would love the imput. I haven't seen too many crossfires without factory wheels.
WOW... that is a lot of damage from hitting a curb, I am sure the speed that you were going didn't help.
Would have been better if your insurance company had total the car. I would assume if you ever go to sell the car there will be issues with any prospective buyer, since the accident is now on record.
