Changing ignition switch and lock cylinder
Anybody out their have any knowledge or have done this ? If so chime in i'm about to attempt it as soon as I get the $350 dollar parts.THANKS LARRY
Why is it being changed?
How to do it is in the "Sticky ignition fix".

Thanks 180. The lock cylinder problem, it locks when I get to the start position (can't turn starter on). Then their are times it does turn the starter on but stick in that position and the car will not start (possible safety to prevent starter damage ?), i manually have to turn the key to the left to stop the starter. At first I thought it was just a squirt of lock ease fix, but i'm way beyond that now. That "sticky ignition fix"article will be a lot of help. thanks again,LARRY
My guess: the pulse module is bad. It is the pulse module that 'supervises" the starter's crank duration.
What do ya think, Dave? All automatic-transmission-equipped Crossfires crank automatically, right?

I agree and would do the sticky Ignition fix. If the little block that rides in the grooves in the ignition housing is worn or has a bur or the spring is weak etc that could cause these symptoms. When I did mine I replaced the housing with a new one that I did the mod on. I took the old one apart to see all the parts. No wonder it starts to stick. Poor design.
