Default SRT-6 Engine running hot!!!

OK, so I just started driving my SRT-6. After a drive, I open a hood and the air coming from the engine area is so hot you almost can't bare being close to it. I owned quite a few cars and never had this issue. Is this normal for this car? LOL when I bring it into my garage I can use it as a heater. And it takes forever to cool down. The engine temperature gauge in the instrument cluster shows normal temperature at all times - arrow in the middle. Outside temps here are around 80-90 on average.

Yes, it's normal as long as the temperature gauge is in the normal range. All that hot air is from the supercharger.

OK thats good, I guess. The needswings DCAI is hot too and I wonder if that heats up the air going through it? Being aluminum isn't it a better conductor of heat than factory plastic tubes (which is bad if you are trying to achieve colder air)?
