Scatter-shield for Supercharger Pulley
and I just paid the remainder for my products to be shipped with bluecoupe's.
Thank you !!
LIST CLOSED
UPDATE 11-18-2014
A Big Thank You to everyone who participated (on the list and otherwise). Those on the list helped to make this happen and were rewarded with a special deal. That deal has ended, but there are still some scatter-shields left that (like ALL the rest that have shipped) come with the newer, low-profile hardware and will be available for $95 plus shipping.
Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Got mine this afternoon and I must say it looks nice. Now for the weather to cooperate so that I can install it this weekend.....
All of the shields were test fit on 2 of my SLK32 superchargers. First they were mounted to one of the SCs that is out of the car, with no pulleys, which made minor manipulation of the shield's hoop (for ideal alignment around the pulley) easier ... and then a final fit on the SLK32 that I drive. During this process, I checked the shield for "ringing" by thumping it lightly while it was bolted in place in order to determine the ideal location for the small square spacer (.125" thick, approx .37" square). Most all liked the spacer in the location shown in the video. ... while a couple of them liked it better when in the location imeadialtly to the left (from installer's perspective). I put a "sharpee" check mark on underside of the scatter-shields after I finished inspecting them. The few that liked the second location (for the spacer) got 2 check marks. Due to (supercharger) casting variations, this "ideal" location for the square spacer on your car may be the opposite of what I observed on my SC. SO, as a rule of thumb start with the location for the spacer shown in the video (except for those with 2 checks which should start in location 2), Then test it (using a light "thump" as shown in the video) and if you get some "ringing" ... try the other spacer location.
I would have put that explanation in the video, but that would have turned it from 4 minutes into 10
Cheers,
Chris

Looks good, Jimmy!
Thanks for sharing the pic. Really like your attention to detail. I'm gonna have to go polish my air tube now.... I like that!

thanks for asking, Steve
the storm got so bad I had to change my watger-logged Birkenstocks
actually, we are between storms and were not hit particularly hard here anyway. The sun is out today and my son and I are putting a fresher motor along with an upgrade or 2 into his turbo'd Miata.
Hope all is well your way, buddy!
Cheers,
Chris
glad you like it !

But you have to uncover her, admire for a while and then get to it. It did only take as few minutes.....but I also ran her for a good while to wake her up from hibernation and then put her back to sleep.
