I wonder how bdh got on in the end.[/Quote
I finally tested my Killer Chiller yesterday after lots of fxxxing around. The Chiller is ice cold but driving around in 68F weather I had iat of between 90-100 degrees. If I do a hard pull my iat goes to 130 degrees.
But come right back to high 90s after. Something is not quite right but not sure what?
I have a 3.5 plus gallon system that I mounted on the bottom of the car as I already have my water meth tank in the trunk. The one thing that is different is I replaced my Johnson cm30 pump with a cm90 which flows a lot more water? I ordered a couple of inline coolant sensors off Rob so I can see what my in & out temp on my intercooler really are instead of just my ait temp.

Is there a good place under the hood to mount the KC without relocating the battery? I've been thinking about doing this, but I don't see a good location.
I'm thinking of installing with the stock HE and isolation valves so if there was ever a problem with the KC I could simply turn the valves and it would be back on the stock system.

No because you need a 3- 4 gal tank. trunk is an option. But if you do that were I live you need an external shut-off clearly marked on the outside of the car.
I made a custom tank that i bolted to the floor pan on the underside, it and all my hoses are heat wrapped. I welded nuts to the body to mount it etc. I wanted my system hidden. Lots of work, I still can use my old system with valves I installed. So far not happy, but we will see.

bdh - I feel your pain....Something's definitely wrong unless your running >20psi boost.
What boost you running 'cause those numbers are similar to my 65mm16psi ones.

I AM HAPPY
With some help from Joe Kincaid I seem to have it working, iat is now around 60 - 62 degrees when driving around. Temp goes up slowly sitting at a light,
but I still may add some more refrigerant later which would make it colder. Current a/c pressures are at max but sometimes it can take a while to work thru the system.
If everything remains good I may remove the supercooler & put an electric fan in front that I can turn on when I am in the line up waiting to stage.
And yes I am making over 23 pounds boost

Good news...Interested to know what's your peak IAT after 10secs of WOT (23psi) with that 3.5Gal of icy cold water keeping you cool?

on the highway you should have IAT's about the same as your mph, example 80 mph your iat's should be close to 80 . 60 to 62 will be in town or driving short distance or driving below 50 mph.
I have had mine in for over 3 year now and temps in fl. from 97* down to 40* and my iat's are always where i want them,
you know the AC compressor also runs when the heat is on so at 40* outside ,, and your Iat is too high turn on the heater and your iat will drop. here is a pic of my log from last night
Thanks for the info Its quite cold when there is air flowing over the condenser, plus the supercooler is probably blocking some of the air flow. My iat is still in the low 60 degree range when idling but I would like to make that colder for the track. And today I was figuring out how to make the fan come on full with a switch, so when I am waiting in line I can be cooling my condenser & bring my temp down. I noticed some condensation drip off the chiller killer that could be a problem at the track, what did you do about that?
Also I do not see any evaporator drip coming off the car? Where is the drain, I thing rob told me that it drip on the hot tranny & evaporates? I have been doing my testing with the a/c on full & it gets to 45 degrees
coming out of the vents when driving, I need to try it with the car in heat position.
Still learning
