broken supercharger
The rivet (not a bolt) can be replaced, but at the least, all 3 should be replaced (and the springs closely inspected or replaced). I would recommend instead that you find low mileage replacement (clutch) pulley.
I have 2 stock (clutch) pulleys with low mileage (one with 12,800 miles and the other with 18,000 miles). Feel free to send me a PM if you want to make a deal on one.

Marigul, You are quite lucky that the failure wasn't more catastrophic. That type of failure happens, but is fairly rare; and I highly recommend that you take Latemodel21 up on his offer(or buy a new one). No offense Chris but I wouldn't even try to fix that(but you have much better sources than I). Latemodel's used supercharger pulleys are very low mileage relatively speaking. I can also say that he is a very straight up trusting guy to deal with. Myself and many forum members have purchased from him.

And , no offense taken relative to various perceptions of the practicality of rebuilding a pulley. I've done it myself, but I would not recommend it as a DIY. Setting the rivets takes correct tooling and observations of tolerances, etc And the springs should probably not be re-used (I have made heavier duty springs to use instead).
To the OP, depending on how long it ran like that you may have scoring on the input shaft of the SC to contend with. In the pic below, you can see how the clutch-pulley's backing plate wore in to the input shaft of this SL55 V8 supercharger .

Thanks for the replys! I am not sure how long it has been damaged. I took it into the shop due to trouble starting and having the car stall out. They replaced an engine sensor which should have resolved that issue. But noticed that the SC was damaged. I will have to see about the damage to the input shaft, if any.
Is the clutch pulley different than getting a new SC Clutch?

the supercharger pulley and clutch are one and the same.

I may be wrong, but isn't the SC clutch part of the supercharger where the pulley is not? The clutch and shaft are are part of the SC "body", but the pulley can be swapped out with relative ease.
chuk, I have remove the pulley ( with the so called clutch) and i have remove/replaced the magnetic Hub which has the supercharger pulley shaft on it , the hub was worn too and the supercharger pulley we were replacing so i replaced everything except the supercharger it does require a special tool to remove the hub, I will post some pic ,,will take pic of the parts tomorrow when i get to the shop,,JS BENZ,,,jim I am speaking of the V8
note, both Mercedes and Chrysler says the magnetic cannot be removed as it is part of the supercharger. LOL we did it on about 6 superchargers so far.

I have a similar issue, my 2003 slk32 amg with 45k miles on it has a supercharger clutch that appears worn just like the op shows but no wear on the shaft, just on the surface area, i noticed this while removing it to upgrade to the eurocharged smaller pulley, should i be concerned about this? replace the clutch? or smooth out the surface of the clutch somehow? or don't touch it at all, thanks.

I'm not sure I understand .... The OPs pulley is broken, NOT worn. If your pulley is broken similarly, your choices are replace pulley or replace supercharger. Based on your description, the supercharger shaft (and presumably clutch surface on supercharger side) are still OK ... so replacing the pulley should take care of it.

my pulley is not broken, mine just has what appears to be wear on the surface, as well as the surface of the clutch, not on the shaft, still i was concerned about this, i had a little bit of what i thought was bearing noise, and after taking off the old one i feel like the bearing might have had slight play in it, i/m also doing the supercharger oil at same time, i would like to know exactly what the amount of oil is supposed to be in there, I know what i pulled out, and can put same amount back in, but would feel better if knew the amount too. here are some pics:

The exact amount is when it's full and starts to bleed out(with car on level surface), just like a rear diff.

The oem pulley had three shims behind it, my new one came with only one, that was going to be my next question, what do i do? it did seem like maybe the pulley was just a bit too close, and the noise i heard may have very well been it touching slightly.

Put all the shims on and slide the pulley on it will go on and off easy . , I set mine between 10 to 15 thousands , being the springs in the pulley move. just eye ball it--- it ---it--- that it is how far it can be and work well. if you do not have a way to measure it,, use two credit cards together. The magnetization comes in at around 1500 rpm also make sure that none of the rivets go below the sc plate,, you can test by put the pulley on a peace of paper hold the paper , with a little pressure push down and turn the pulley if it spins without ripping the paper it must be good. mine was sitting on a black Formica table , and i was playing with it ,,when i picked it up i had scratches on my table, Shi* screwed up my table. good luck. jim
