Default Need a pair of eyes

Hello all,

My car (2002 SLK32) does not have a wiper spindle seal on the driver's side wiper. This is a rubber grommet that seals around the wiper shaft and the plastic outside vent cowl at the base of the windshield.

Looking at the EPC the diagram only shows one for the passenger side (1708240098) so I've been unable to find a part number for the "missing" seal.

Shouldn't there be a seal around both? The interesting thing is the openings in the cowl are different diameters so the one from the passenger side will not fit the driver side.

Does your car have a seal where mine doesn't? If so, anyone know the part number?

Thanks!

Thanks. So much for the prowess of German engineering. I assumed my cowl was just installed improperly, thus accounting for the offset in the wiper spindle through the opening.
