MMZTimeLord's SRT-6 - R.I.P.
Update,
Here is the actual listing. They have removed the front bumper probably to better see any damage.

Good luck, give a shout if you need any details on the mods, etc.

Wow, it doesn't look that bad, what was stated value, and damage estimate? That is a shame to be off the road. Any incident where everyone is OK is a great thing, cars keep getting safer and safer which is great.
NADA for this car is $9700, it potentially has frame damage, there is no where for the insurance company to save money i.e using A/M or LKQ parts due to the small volume of cars made. They can find OEM but the parts and label would be more then 70% of the car ACV thus TL.
philosophico,
The shop that estimated the damaged stated that there was NO DAMAGE to the structure of the vehicle. A-Pillar was undamaged in the collision. It was able to start and drive. Even the wheels suffered no damage that I was notified of.
So, it's a door, fender and parts. The problem lies in the fact that the side impact air bag in the passenger door deployed. $900 for the sensor alone. The control module, impact sensor, air bag, door panel, door, fender, trim, etc. all need to be replaced. They were figuring a bit under $11,000 in parts alone AND the front fender is on nationwide back order. So, they paid me out for $11,705 and change. I'm not unhappy with the deal. I could have turned around and simply purchased another SRT6 with lower miles, but then I'm still driving an expensive to repair 10 year old car. It was a tough decision.
If I had the space and the time, I would have taken the salvage title, purchased another car for daily and repaired this myself, but, it was not to be.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! and hope they will have a Happy and safe New Year celebration!

I just came across this thread..... really sorry to hear about the accident and write off of the car, but glad to hear you and your wife were uninjured in the accident. I enjoyed my time with you at Buttonwillow Raceway several years back, and of course all of your invaluable input here on the forum. I know how much time, effort and energy you put into your Crossfire, making it extra difficult to read this thread.
Enjoy the Veloster and don't be a stranger!!

I was seriously interested in going to this auction; even paid the $200. to become a "public" buyer. But then I found out that I couldn't even bid on this (and most of the other cars)as a "public" buyer; so I backed out. It seems that you have to be a dealer, wrecker, salvage, etc., to bid on the majority of the cars.
