Hello ,trying to identify a problem and hope someone has a clue as to what it is.

From cold start the engine chugs as if the exhaust has a hole in it ,after idling for a minute or so this chugg turns into a loud tick which then goes as soon as engine warms up after 3 mins or so.

No warnings up,performance is ok so its odd

 

When it's dead cold,and before starting it up, open the hood and be ready to listen in with a 3 foot or so length of water hose(3/4" or 1"diameter)up to your ear. Have someone else start it, and then immediately start zeroing in on the location of the tick before it disappears. Stay away from the belt and fan.
