Default Leaving in 1st gear

Is it true that if you leave with the trans in 1st gear it will upshift automatically when it gets to the redline ? What about with the TC ON and with the TC OFF ?

Yes, ubt usually around 4700 RPM, not redline. Not sure about TC, but I don't think it matters.

Really..... only 4700 RPM seems kind of low.

SRT6 will go to redline in manual mode. Doesnt matter if TC is on or off. TC will kill power upon wheel slippage regardless.

With the Eurocharged TCU remap upshifts are higher than standard.

I believe mine to be similar Dave but to be honest haven't checked the exact numbers.
All I can say that doubled up to the new paddle shift makes for a much more pleasing driver experience.

Stevieb,Yes, i Want those paddles shifters too , they must be alot of fun but the install scares me abit . plus im broke atm :-(
Dashcommand (or TorquePro) work well and IF you input all the cars parameters
Correctly it is quite accurate too.
On mine Dashcommand is within 5% accurate on actual fuel consumption , its 5% optimistic.
A tweak to the Brake specific and or the volumetric efficiency settings and it would probably be spot on . I havnt done that but i should.
in Dashcommand /vehicle/advanced settings i have the BSFC set at .55lb /(hp*h)
and Volumetric efficiency set at 70%
changing these two would likely alter the HP report .
I think the 378hp report i got, allthough it was on a dead flat road , a little optimistic .
I would expect about 350+ hp with the mods i have .
