Chrome was not an option. You can see the specification sheet in the Documentation thread.

Thank you sir. Seems I learn something new every day. That's a good thing and I appreciate your input. Also now my SRT appears to be worth more with the extra chrome wheels. Can't beat that.

I have an 04 Coupe this sums it up. Mercedes Chassis, and engine, Beautiful Coachwork from Chrysler. Mustang, Camaro Nissan, Honda, yada, yada, yada. dime a dozen.
spend a bunch of $$$$ on it to look different, or get Lucky and buy a Crossfire for $5K 10/17 (27K miles when purchased, crossed 37K yesterday.) and get looks, and nods from Mustang and Ford Divers.
Mercedes Drivers get Pissed off because OUR cars look better, and they paid too much.
on top of that I get to drive it and get paid for it.

I was a Camaro and Corvette guy for years. Parts are a plenty and so are the cars. So I tried out the Roadster for my wife and had an oh **** moment. That lead to many go fast parts, and eventually another coupe added with even more go fast parts. The thing I noticed is I don't get beat until they surpass the $100K price tag. That isn't bad considering I have $50K in both cars. So best HP for the $$$. What is even more amazing, is this now 13 yr old technology. I would have to spend over $100k to get the same or better performance from a car built today. Pound for pound.

Does anyone know what type or brand of airbags are in the Crossfire? Hopefully not Takata.

i'm a bit of a speed freak and have been a corvette guy my whole life. have a streetrod project currently being built with a 383 stroker at about 500 hp, but you have to love the way a crossfire srt6 runs (and i still have at least 1 corvette, lol). the crossfire is my daily driver and i smile every time i get in it and take my daily drive. best kept secret with the most bang for your buck!! oh, and my wheels which are definitely machined, have brightly polished center caps also. i'm not the original owner and will take your word for it that they aren't OEM

it's my daily driver and i enjoy every minute i'm in it.

The SRT6 is OK, some of the later years use Takata bags.
Do a search using”Takata” to find specific years if you are interested.

Go to the NHTSA website and enter your VIN into the search engine. That'll tell you all the recalls and TSB's for your car.
