Default Help! dashboard warning light

Hi new owner and new to the forum. Love the car and what a great resource this forum is! I've had this waroning light go on and off intermittently. I've checked my owner's manual (doesn't say srt-6 on the cover) and I've downloaded the SRT 6 manual from here. I have been unable to find in either, can anybody tell me what it is? I seem to be having problems with my supercharger which I've learned from here is probably my IC pump (going to the shop tomorrow)
would that warning light be related to it?

Your engine has too much oil in it. The two items are unrelated.

Thanks , I appreciate the reply!
When it first came on I assumed it was for the oil so I check the levels and everything looked normal..

Ive had mine come on for 2 reasons. Oil level was low (was actually the case) or the sensor was going bad (oil level was fine but some crude or something messed it up, some engine clean product from liquid moly fixed that with a fresh oil change).

When I had to much oil in the car the warning light in the middle of the odometer came on and that one will beep at you.

Either way, just monitor your oil level.

We have a winner !

That "Alladin" light is almost ALWAYS a false alarm thanks to the so-often-failing oil level sending unit.
