Send him a PM, his page's email information may be outdated. He was here just yesterday, sending a PM should work.

You can also tag him like this: @latemodel21 That should generate a forum alert to him.

i could swear I recently saw him say that it isn’t worth the effort and money to make them anymore. He would have to make a large batch and the demand isn’t there

Yes, this is the case. Previously, I had to make 60-80 at a time to make this product even slightly profitable, AND (since the last "batch") my cost to produce has gone up dramatically (30%) as a result of the current economic disaster . I created this part to provide protection for fellow enthusiasts and sold it near my cost, but now it does NOT pencil out (particularly since a batch takes 2 or more years to sell).

Additionally, since PLM (private label manufacturing) decided to make cheap knockoffs of my M113k Scattershields (selling their poorly made low-quality Chinese copies for less than they cost me to produce), I was not willing to risk the financial exposure on the M112k shields (of making a bunch and having PLM or someone else undersell me with cheap copies).

I do, however, still have the crossfire/r170 Paddle-shift kits available. Latemodel21@yahoo.com

Cheers,
Chris

That's an issue in Ham Radio today - tons of extremely cheap and CRAPPY Chinese radios have flooded the market - worst part is these radios pollute the RF spectrum and make things hard on us all.
The FCC does NOTHING, it's all about China making money.

Back to your economic mention:
It really IS true, the small business owner sees what condition the economy is in more than any of us.
