Default Wheel Brush

I finally came across the company that sold me the wheel brush I use. I know I've been promising this info so here it is...
Solo Horton Brush Company - item number is 987 and they run $3.87 each. This is a nice brush that gets the fronts and backs of your wheels clean.

The website requires a $30 minimum purchase, and I don't need that many. I'm going to check a few stores and determine if I can find an equivalent brush. I'll post if successful.

That's the same brush I purchased 15 years ago ... or more! I got it from Eastwood Co. I think. Naturally the wire in the middle is a bit rusted after all the years, but its lasted. Just be carful of the tip when using it. I'll post a pic of the dinosaur later.

This is what it looks like after 15 or 20 years.

I live in Florida and seldom see rain in the Fall/Winter/Spring. Ill usually dust my car more often than wash it; takes just a minute and always looks great.

Anyway, I also dry dust my wheels with a long-handled, soft bristled brush I bought at Target in their automotive department. The handle is about two feet long and the soft bristles are about three inches long. Takes care of all that front wheel brake dust like nobody's business. Standing up, dry, in about twenty seconds apiece. Those soft bristles knock the dust out of the most awkward crannies and everything shines up just fine.

Dry dusting is so quick and easy, I'll probably do it every other time I take the car out.

Once that brake dust gets wet, tho, forget about it ... have the wife get out the hose and the bucket.
