Default Pollen

I was so glad warm weather came, but I had forgotten what came with it.

This is 15 minutes after a wash:

My monte carlo needs another coat of wax or two, but it's so bad I don't want to put it on right now. I don't think I'll be able to keep the surface clean in the time it takes to put on wax.

We need some rain to knock this out a little...

Yeah the pollen monster came and attacked my car this morning too. I left it out last night, I was considering washing it and never drove it into the garage. This morning I woke up to a yellow SRT-6. Yes guys I now am the proud owner of a classic yellow SRT-6... at least until I wash it tonight.

Ugh, that looks horrible - and just 15 minutes after washing?? And here I was bummed out that it rained this morning here in SoCal.

On my way home from work today, I found it interesting that all of the car dealerships only have yellow cars in their inventory row. They all even have yellow tinted windows.

My car was in the garage most of the weekend and it still got a nice coat of yellow/green dust. From now til mid May. Then we can start worrying about hail storms.

I wish I would have taken a pic of mine when I left work today. When I was walking up to it in the parking lot, I thought someone had splashed paint all over it.

Here is a vehicle (roomate's) that never gets washed. Best it gets is I usually throw leftover suds and soap on it and rinse after I wash my car.

Here it was before it rained last week. This is what all of the cars that don't get washed around here looked like. I don't know how long it had been since this had been rinsed, but it had been a week or so.

Finally it rained so most of it is gone, but it's still here. Just manageable now.

I left my mine out of the garage last night, and it looks kinda orange from a distance now. Kinda like an old VW Squareback I had years ago.....

Yeah, the pollen cloud has hit KS now too. Day after washing, a layer of it! Bummer.

My rental car in Eastern NC was plastered with so much yellow "dust" when walked out the airport that I thought there was a sulfur plant close by. Really - I couldn't even see out the windshield. I'd never seen anything like it before. I was going to go back in and ask for a clean car but it was midnight.

My sinuses soon told me it wasn't sulfur.. After two weeks I was never so glad get home.

That stuffs nasty....

What kind of wax did you previously put on it? In my experience any sealant is going to attract more dust and what not compared to a carnauba wax. Mainly because of the oils in the sealant it attracts everything!

Never had this problem with a coat of Meguiar's m26 or m16 though, give it a try! Also pick some of this QD it does wonders against build up from sitting.
