Upsetting discovery
I just made an upsetting discovery. Some dumpass caved-in the roof of
the Crossfire. I pushed it back out from the inside but there are
kinks remaining that will require body work to remove

I heard you should never push out the dents yourself as sometimes a body shop can get them out with a minimum of creases. But I know when you see it at first, the impulse is to push them out.
Someone walked on the car, most likely a dumbass kid with nothing better to do. The roof is surprisingly easy to cave in or out even with that fin. It's just sheet metal with no reinforcement on the inside. I am getting an estimate tomorrow morning for a "painless dent repair" to see if it can be massaged out. I priced that roof skin at over $1000, insane!

Now there's an idea! I hadn't thought of that. Anyone know of one compatible for our car?
It has been done. Here is an old thread with info.

I think a rolling ragtop that replaced the roof and rear hatch would be awesome.
