Default Headlight haze cleared

I have to tell you guys that today I worked on my headlights and they look brand new, better than replacing them. I used Chemical Guys headlight restoration by first sanding with 2500 grit then 3500 grit. Then I followed that up with polishing pads and the V34,V36 and then there V38. Once that was done I used the pro seal 109. Sounds like allot of work but its worth it for the results I received. I'm also I the process of using there V products to polish out my black paint and while it takes some time the results are phenomenal and well worth the expense and time that will be invested in it.

Typically it's external and UV damage.. some did have condensation problems due to venting that Chrysler addressed.

The uv protection they put on them during production breaks down and starts the hazing process just like clear coat if its not taken care of, I mean really who waxes or puts a protectant on plastic headlights. I never did but after working on these and my truck I will now.

Today, I tried some Meguiar's paint cleaner wax on some rough tan haze on our 07 Tribeca headlights. They look almost new, and it only took 30 seconds of rubbing it in. Just thought I'd pass it on.

If the haze is deep then this fix may last a week or so, I did similar things to hazy lights and nothing worked, The secret is to get back to virgin plastic by getting rid of all the oxidized plastic.
