Default Split Window Conversion

I've seen a few posts on it, but has anyone actually modified their crossfire to have the split window effect like the concept car?

I don't think it's been done yet.
I once thought about having a thick piece of plexiglass molded with a "spine" down the middle.
But cost, and distortion while looking through the rear window using the rear view mirror made me change my mind. (Probably why Daimler/Chrysler chose not to do it as well). Always thought it looked cool on the concept car though.
I thought the wrap around windshield looked especially nice on the concept.

I would go targa before doing this, but either would be massively cool!

Guess you could add the roadsters bracing on that.. "learned" the 92 vette (C4 series) was a last minute "targa" design instead of T tops.. believe me you want that targa on.. LOL.

All one would need would be the spine and some UV glue from a glass shop. Glue it onto the existing back glass.

Good idea...I wouldn't worry much about the visibility through the ball window being as there's almost none once the spoiler is up

Might as well just make it a stick-on and do what the 'vette people did: remove the stock mirror and add two '63 Avanti mirrors.
