Default Remove wider pin stripe that is faded

I am looking at buying a 2005 roadster, but it has some faded pinstripe down the spine on an aero blue paint. Anybody done a good job removing those vinyl stripes? Any color match problems afterward?

They do make decal erasers that is used with a cordless drill. Actually, works well without paint damage. Color under the stripe may be more vibrant but will fade in time. James

Search Amazon for decal erasers for drills. I couldn't get any link to work.

I've used a heat gun with good results but be very very careful of blistering the paint if held for too long and too close
