Oil change prices getting better...

Default Oil change prices getting better...

Just did my second oil change, (first one was free). Looked over the requirements for an "A" service vs. a "B" service, and B has a bunch of basic checks that dealership should do anyway, they did. But, called around to the dealerships (Denver area) for a price for an "oil change" ranged from $69 to $125. 2 dealerships (Chrysler 5 star) came in at $69 only one was $125. Seems in the last year more of the dealerships in this area are coming down in price, ticket worked out to be:

Filter - $11.00
Oil 8 @ $6.10 - $48.80
Labor - $10.15

$69.95

Thought that was pretty good.

That's only a little more than it costs to do it yourself. I hope they're using the "Fleece" style filter. I usually have to pay over $20 for it at the Mercedes dealer.
