Default Valve Cover

I noticed some oil under my valve cover, has anyone had a problem with leaking valve covers.

45,000 miles and dry as a bone around the valve covers. The only place I notice a little seepage/weeping is around the oil filter cap.

Hey I have 7,500 miles on my 05' roadster and I have a slight oil leak coming from the where the oil fill cover attaches to the valve cover, going to have valve cover fixed by dealer This Thursday. Is that where yours is leaking?

With all due respect, the valve cover is not the oil filler cap... If you said that you had oil seeping from "the little round tube that you put oil into, with the black cap on it" Everyone would have told you to replace the "O" ring that seals the filler cap...

Here's what the valve cover is...

And here's the oil filler cap...

It appears that the leak is in the base of the neck where it attaches to the valve cover not in the cap.

I had my VC changed at about 5,000 miles for the same reason, I noticed a little puff of smoke from the hood at stop lights every now and then.
