MB airbox
Got the Mercedes V8 airbox (thanks to Dan Root) with K&N filters (cleaned and reoiled before using).
MAJOR improvement over the stock airbox with K&N's = better throttle response esp. at low and mid rev's. Freeway entrance normally hit at 80 mph was 90 today without any other changes !!! Notice a big more intake growl, but not objectionable. I was surprised at the difference it made.
I did notice that the stock ram air hoses are a fairly small area rectangular in shape where they attach to the front bodywork - has anyone looked to see if we can enlarge this ??

No, I don't think you can easily enlarge the opening.
You could remove that piece, and the piece in the grill.
Then everybody will say you're ingesting warm air from the engine, and that you already have a CAI.
