Default New intake filters

I just replaced my intake filters, went from this.

To this.

I like the look better and it sounds better, when i had the foam filters on i didn't feel safe running with just the foam filters so i kept the OEM filters in. When i switched over i removed the oem's maybe that's why it sounds better to me.

Tony...These are not truly CAI's, they are for appearance only. There is no hp gain, but they do provide a nice growl. Try the link below, you can build your own.

More than likely they are sucking a bit of hot air, but not much. There are no TRUE CAI's for the XFire unless you fabricate one yourself. Also on the Spectre site you will have to pick out the parts and fabricate the system yourself.

If it matters I also did this and noticed the two intake ducts from the grill for the stock intake are blocking air. So all I did was take the grill off and pull out those two duct assemblies out and wow way more air getting to those intake filters... I can actually get home from driving on the freeway and the intake tube is not to warm.
