Wrong fuse box Roy... Open the one under the hood, passenger side where the ECU is.

If you watch Apkanos video that he posted you will see the fuses that are pulled out. And it is under the hood on the drivers side back firewall. as hddp mentioned.

The fuses to be pulled are under the cover right next to your brake cylinder...If you're standing on the driver's side of your car, you have to reach right over the fuses to touch your brake fluid reservoir. I left the top removed when I made the video...There is a top that covers the fuses...it comes off real easy.

The fuses are the 2 40A fuses in the middle row. Basically they are in the middle of the box.

BTW...I put the fuses back in...I didn't like not having ABS...and my rear tires wore down to nothing in a BIG hurry!! Although laying down some big long black stripes is pretty fun!

As another sidenote...with everything shut off this car LOVES to get sideways in a BIG way!

Don't need a picture...I've told you where they were...hell, my dog knows where they are...it's really not this difficult!

I have enough knowledge to read a wiring schematic and figure out where they are...

I figure I might as well get snarky since it seems everyone else is!

See my gallery for pics of the fuses to pull ...

If you don't have these fuses I don't know what to tell you!

DAMN PHOTO'S...why is it so hard to attach a picture to this site!

Freakin to hell with it... know how it works for me!
Download the service manual and track it down like I did!

My brake lights worked fine with the TC disabled...I know this because it was nighttime when I tried it and I could see the glow from the brake lights clear as day when I backed into the garage.

Ya...ok...It's only been 18 years since I got my ASE master auto/diesel mechanic certifications.

I hope like hell I know the difference between brake lights and tail lights.

Thumbs up Re: Disabling TC

Just got back from a test drive, Whooo! is this thing fun to drive with Fuses 17 & 18 pulled.
I'd leave them out all the time but then I'd have no brake lights. Maybe it's the diff between a Base & Limited. I even double checked, no dice no brake lights with the fuses out. These cars have some odd quirks sometimes so it could be different for different cars.

It's just how I react when a wannabe smartass questions my ability.

Call it what you want...

If I REALLY wanted to be a *****, I'd point out that I know why his "break" lights were not working!
