I said screw the cheap muffler and went with the Magnaflow and putting the stock tips back on. I figure I'd better be safe than sorry and I'd probably end up hating the cheap one after I put it on. I like the stock tips too. The dual canister muffler had some ugly spot welds inside the tips and I couldn't get them to come out looking right so I just said screw it.

I ordered Magnaflow 12148 its non-polished stainless with 2 1/4" in and dual 2" out which im pretty sure is the stock size in and out. 5"x8" oval case 14" long.

It was supposed to be put on Tuesday but a freakin tree branch fell on my car last night at my girlfriends house so now I have to sort that out, so who knows. GRRR!

To each his own...
Actually I think the welds just look cleaner because the metal used in this muffler is thinner. Though I'm actually a fan of the tuner scene, and as of betty's death have become a member of it, I've never really thought the style worked well with the crossfire. I actually did a test fit of a similar muffler before going with the borla and just didn't like the overall look. Might look ok on my 240sx though. And you're very right, to each his own. I hope you're happy with it.
