sorry to be a dummy here...so on an /a, installing both the underdrive and the crank pullies will yield 12-18?

or is that just the crank pulley?

Just for the crank. I think the V8 saw something like 22 HP. These are numbers I was quoted from the manufacturer.

Awesome, Im subscribed to this thread; eagerly awaiting results. Although I couldnt find the thread on MBworled, its nice to hear that the v8 picked up 22 hp Those guys are just as hungry as the v6 guys for a bit more power.

Before everyone else asks... 'Please post before & after dynos'.
Regarding being close to 300hp, their 250 kit states 253hp, so you'll be closer to 300 than 200 if that's what you're asking. Remember, if a product (say pulleys) frees up/gains you an extra 10hp on a stock engine, it will not gain you that same 10hp on a modified engine. An engine will only produce so much power - you're just extracting all you can.
Those last few horses are the most expensive ones!!!

well i believe tvt stated an actual 263hp with their cai on the tvt250 kit. i could be wrong however. that is just with a flash tune, a custom tune will show even more gains on top of all the other mods i currently have plus the pullies which go on hopefully tomorrow! you are definately right about the last few horses! you pay for them BIGTIME.. the only mods left for me after this will be cams and headers which im not sure if ill ever be able to afford!

you can always sell you furniture.

anyways...how much did you pay for the lambo doors, and where did you fet them, i saw them on ctd, but they seemed a bit extreme on price just for the kit, especially when you do the conversion to australian currency.

We had a customer get 271 HP out of our TVT250 kit and CAI with a custom tune.

300 HP with the pulleys is very feasible.

With everything you just ordered and a custome tune I have no doubt you'll be in the top three fastest N/A's. There's us, you, and always the one person that is faster then you.

most gains stated by the manufacturer are measured at the crank...
