Default oil capacity

I just recently purchased a crossfire and in the manual there isnt anything I see about oil volume only brand and weight.
Can anyone tell me the oil volume with filter that will be required?
And is it hard to do? any special tricks I need to remember?
Thanks DK

dkellogg, also don't be surprised if you read some printed lit that was published in 2003-4 that only 5 quarts were needed. The first manuals were wrong. and showed only 5 quarts needed. My first oil change at the dealer in 2003 was at 5 quarts. These guys didn't check the level and after the light came on I poured 3.5 of my own in. The manuals were then corrected.

check it after eight.
If it is full leave it be.
Overfull is not good.

I use 8 quarts of synthetic 5-30W only because the temp in SoCal is in the 70-80 degrees F
