TVT300 Preview...
Hey tvt what benz should i look in the junk yard for that has that throttle body ...thanks but u can just tell me when your getting a new order of them in ill just buy it that way thanks eric
The only components I can see in this 300 kit that will actually make more power are the headers and the throttle body, I dont know if the port and polish will do much, but then again I could be wrong!
What sort of power should I excpect if I purchase the headers, throttle body, fuel injectors, CAI, and have you tune my ecu? I've already got a sports muffler.

My car is totally stock.. can i install this kit on my car just as it is ?? my goal is to beat a porsche cayman S in a 1/4 mile race.. i have a bet with a friend of mine that owns one and this seems the way to go..
VERY INTERESTED!!!!! but still how come whenever someone asks about quarter mile times we never get an answer from anyone?? like with the tvt 250, 265, or w/e. all the people who have these kits should post up some specs. i would think that it would help tvt more if they and all the people with these kits would post up some quartermile times. thats the only reason me and 4 of my other friends with xfires have not bought these kits yet. im sure they are amazing and im dying to get one myself but i cant buy one unless im sure it will actually knock of some time off my quarter mile. anyone know any times on the tvt kits??????
Out of that I think the Headers will be the toughest of all to create the one's I've seen attempted have turned out with poor results mainly do to the crafting. It's a really tight shave I think it's possible but it will require someone with some good experience then the install is another matter in itself. The NA market I think will be healthy for along time since the vehicles have come down in price seems to have a pretty strong following I think it will continue to improve with more in the after market for them, word of mouth does wonders.
As for TVT and Needswings have you guys seen the beer comercial where the smal brewery sends out a salesman to bring and show there beer to other countries and nightclubs around the world. At the end the salesman gets a ton of buisness and the owner says I think it's time to expand?
Don't be suprised if that's you!

Lets say TVT has this kit on an XF and is running 12.9 quarters (how awesome that would be) and you buy the kit expecting to do the same, however, you may not be an responsive of a driver, your tires may not grip the same, the temperature is off, etc. There are sooo many variables that go into it, quoting 1/4 mile times is difficult. The main thing I would be after is dyno info. Anything yet Anthony? Thanks.

We are aiming to have some dyno numbers of everything minus exhaust and headers within the next week or so. The car is sitting on the trailer all strapped up and ready to go.
As for when we will be back to the strip, well that is going to depend on my work schedule. Pretty much every free hour I've had has been spent cleaning up our property and getting ready for the 3 bay addition.
I'd like to have a stock Xfire at both the dyno and the track to do back to back comparisons. Must be manual though.
