Default TVT300 Preview...

We've made ample progress on our N/A modifications over the winter. We had a chance to play around a number of AMG and non-AMG N/A motors in all types of cars and see what works. All of this playing has paid off.

Our TVT300 will be in addition to our TVT265 kit and will add the remainder of "bolt-ons" available. Our goal for this kit was to increase the powerband and keep the low and midrange pull, but also allow the engine to breather better on the top end.

This kit will be sold with out an exhaust, but will be tested with one. The reason we are doing this is because many of our customers already have exhausts on their cars, and if they don't a custom exhaust is fairly cost effective. However, we will be offering Magnaflow cat backs and race cats for those interested in piecing a system together.

Our Kit will include the following:
  • Ported/Polished Intake Manifold Stage 2
  • 74mm Throttle Body
  • Catch Can
  • Tubular Headers
  • Tune/Re-tune
  • TVT265 (if not purchased)
The manifold will be done on a core basis as well as the TB. The catch can is important to make sure that the power you are making, you keep making. The headers will bolt onto factory cats. The tune will either be a first time tune or a reflash of your current one.

Pricing has not been established yet, but we are looking to keep it under 3K for the upgrade and around 4K for the whole package. Prices are subject to change as we continue to finalize the products.

I will post up some pics of the TB and manifold. Dyno results will follow.

TVT with this kit will our 0-60 tims break into the high 5's? and maybe crack into the 13's on the 1/4 because if so I think I'll definatly be interested even with the CRAZY exchange rate Australia is dealing with

The unit on our car is a V8 TB. We have the option of boring out the stock TB or offering the V8 swap. The V8 plugs right in and adapts after about 3 mins.

I finally got to drive it today with the manifold and TB installed and the throttle response is amazing. The car just pulls and pulls till it hits fuel cut. I'll be getting it on the dyno soon.

Are headers a pain to install on our cars? On my cobra, the easiest way was to drop the entire front suspension leaving the motor on a jack, or jack stands. I would love to do exhaust on the x-fire, but stainless is too high for me right now, since I want the 265 kit. chris

It has sentimental value, but it does take some crappy pics. I think it has a lot to do with the user though...

I spoke to someone at your shop about a month and a half ago about doing something to my car. My goal was to have around 300hp once I was done. I am really excited about your new kit. I will see you guys in August when I get back from my current deployment.

Can any V8 Mercedes throttle body be put into our cars? or does it have to come from a specific Mercedes V8, I wonder if the SRT-6 throttle body would fit in our N/A's??

Certain models and model years will bolt up. It needs to be compatible with the electronics.

We will have them on our site for 250.00 for sale later today.

Can you explain this one for me, Ported/Polished Intake Manifold Stage 2? Did you sell a stage 1?
