Any noticeable difference in anything?
What is the bracket which is referred to - is it just longer than the one supplied in the regular CAI kit?

I did not use a bracket. It is designed for more airflo, do not know if a different can be felt. I only had the other k&n cone on there for a day then went with the rx-2820

Is rx-2820 which you quote in the post the actual K&N part number?

yes it is a higher flowing filter which we were able to figure out how to fit behind the grill properly. the brackets we make are to move the p/s line so it will fit.

Hi Rob,
So if I purchase this filter to replace the one which came with your intake will I definately have to use the new bracket supplied?
Does this bracket just push the P/S line out of the way or is it completely relocating the P/S line (I can't see it in your pics)?
Any issues with engine temps etc due to the larger filter blocking the radiator?
I have a Limited.
Thanks.

A simple heat shield does work...have one on mine after driving for 60 miles i can grab the filter and not even tell the filter is sitting right next to the radiator its about 5 inches away from the motor and radiator....check out the shield neuspeed has on theres works great! might help on your heat situation (sorry you talking about engine temp just re-read)

I understand what heat shields do, but I'm refering to the engine/radiator temps - does the farger filter block/reduce the air flowing through the radiator therefor raising engine temps?

I have this filter installed. No noticeable increase in engine temps.
