i was wondering if it is cheaper to buy oil filter from mercedes benz rather than the chrysler dealer? chrysler said something around 40 bucks would it be cheaper to go to benz dealer and if so what do i need to tell them? i have a 05 crossfire. any help would be appreciated.

 

Less than $15 at NAPA. Synthetic MANN made in Germany. Same as you would buy at either dealer.

 

Buying anything, go to ebay and 40$ for a filter. They are being polite, they are telling you that you dont want this and go away. WOODY

 

I called a MB dealer and told them I needed a oil filter for a 2004 slk320, but they were $5 more than the Chrysler dealer quoted me!

$25 canadian from my local MB dealership, didnt even concider going to my Chrysler stealership,

 

Here in San Diego Mercedes is cheaper than Chrysler.
