Default another cai question

OK, its friday night and raining like all heck. Im locked inside for the night. Was thinking about throttle reset procedure. I recently put in a tvt cai and didnt do a throttle reset. I babied it on the first test spin so Im not sure if it was a seat of the pants change. Next day took it out and got on it but it just seemed to be bog-ish. Thought it was just my mind playing games on me. So I stopped and did a throttle reset. Noticed right after as I pulled out of the parking lot that my stabilitrak light flashed a bit...humm cool

So driving home it felt more responsive and just better "tuned". Can I be imagining it? Guess Im doubting myself because Im not sure if the throttle reset is instant or if the car has to take a while to learn. one more thing please...what is that slight click I feel under the gas pedal when I push it all the way to the mat?

The click is the downshift button under the pedal being depressed.

It's fairly easy.

1. Key turned to the ON (does not have to be running)

2. Press the pedal to the floor and hold for couple of seconds.

3. Turn the key off - LEAVE THE KEY in the switch....let set for 2 mins ( oh yeah you can let up on the gas now)...

NOTE: Important to allow the key to remain in the switch for 2 mins. The throttle "memory" will be purged and the car will "relearn" how you drive. You should notice some improvement in throttle response. Don't expect "burn out" response..but you should see some difference.
