Default Ansa Muffler

I was talking to Gwen at Ansa yesterday and sent her the you tube clip of my car with the Ansa after installing the V8. she mentioned that she had sold a bunch since since December and has maybe 5 left. This is a fanstatic muffler for the Crossfire and if you like you can use the stock Crossfire tips as I did. I would love to hear one of these on a SRT with no resonator. Keep in mind the intake side is stepped for different size pipe. If you cut it off close the muffler you will be at the right size for your pipe. Gwen is now the person to talk to about anything Crossfire. she can be reached at 800-841-9166 Get them while they last. When I sitll had a V6 I parked next to a Magna flow and found the Anza was very similar but without the drone. Here it on my V8 here:

Very impressive sir!!! I hope to see your car in person one day. A laptop computer I'm sure does not do the Ansa or the V-8 sound justice. Nothing however is lost on the quick moving needle on the speedo.

Now, if she could get us a cat-back built with tips that better suit our cars, she'd be a dove.

My tips still aren't perfectly lined up... granted, a shortcoming of the exhaust shop but it wasn't made any easier by the dual-walled tips.

Why do you need a cat back? So you can bolt on yourselt? Replacing the muffler on a Crossfire is about he easiet job a muffler monkey can do. I ran the Ansa tips for quite a while and then decided to put the stock tips on. It is easy to put your stock tips on. just cut off the Ansa ones as close to the muffler as you can. A saws all does a good job. You will find a samller inner tube that is the same size your stock tips. You can see my Asna with stock tips if the video above.

Your car sounds great. My wife got me an Ansa muffler for Christmas, haven't gotten a chance to install it yet,I'm planning on keeping the stock tips.

It's certainly easy, I just think it would be easiER for other guys in the future.

Mine is currently running the OEM tips and I LOOOOOOVE the way it sounds, I just don't like the way the rear of the muffler looks with the other tips hacked off. I know, it's nit-picky, but still...

Your really have to get down on the gournd and look close if it is done right. then again you could always get out a grinder smooth it out even more. after you are done a little black paint and you have what looks like an OEM muffler that sounds 1000 times better! Or you could just uses the Ansa tips which are not bad at all.
