Default ram air

ok i havent looked to see about clearance or anything like that, i will when i leave for work today, just an idea, i wonder about the functionality of removing the fog lights and using those holes as like ram air. i know the gains would be minimal just like most other intake mods, its more cosmetic and cool than anything =P anyone thought of this or tried it? what are you thoughts?

Hi,
If I recall correctly, years ago on a Ford model truck, the OEM air intake was set too low and the result was hydraulic lockup of the engines. The ram air ducts acted like ram water intakes while driving through puddles. I'd keep the air inlets as high as you can!

Low inlets, dirt and crap. In front of the radiator is just as good and higher. Woody

This happened to a friend of mine back in the late 90's with his honda civic.

Too low of an intake is not a good thing.
