Tramp Stamp Tatoo Muffler Hanger
Got the muffler idea from starring at a woman's Tramp Stamp Tatoo on her lower back while standing in a grocery store line. I wanted to pull out my cell phone to take a close up picture, but I could tell she was getting somewhat upset with this old man starring. Anyway, the hanger mod was water jetted out of 1/2" thick 304 stainless, then polished out. Rob at NeedsWings hooked me up with 8 pieces of 45 degree stainless fittings and two Moroso Twister stainless mufflers. Used a dual inlet/outlet Tru-X Magnaflow resonator 14386 midways of the car. Low soft deep mellow sounds in the car's cabin, but can easily hurt the ears of who ever's behind me at wide open throttle only! I have no way of producing a sound clip unless there's a member here in Charlotte,NC. Stock muffler with 6" of piping attached weight's in at 20 pounds 15 and 1/2 OZ. My muffler mod with hanger weight's in at 11 pounds and 11 OZ. VAROOOOM !! Squirrel Crusher
For a simple and STRONG support that does not conduct vibration well, I used two 8" stainless steel clamps to cradle the pipes off the factory hangers. The rubber thing was a PITA and a POS to work with. Woody
