I really thought for the best eurocharged tune you had to have the upgraded injectors or you would run lean. If that is not true i wonder where i got the idea.

I'll find out more from Eurocharged later this week I hope.

I just read somewhere else that someone said Rob (Needswings) said it can cause unnecessary wear.

Wish there was a dyno.

You were probably reading the same post(s) I was when I was given the injectors. If I remember correctly there was some discussion of benefit of larger injectors when paired with a tune. True? Not sure but I did notice a mpg pick-up. Not a lot but it's there.

I am all for a MPG pick-up! But if it is bad for the engine as some suggest I am torn.

True! I almost took them off after not being able to get the engine calmed down. It would go into a high idle then stall. After about 20 minutes of keeping my foot lightly on the throttle it all seemed to calm down. Took it out for a spirited run, reset the TB and it's run smoothly since.

I was thinking a lot of that had to do with other things I did that day like removing the intake, EGR, wires, hoses, lions, tigers, bears, etc..

Mind you I've done "all" of the upgrades listed on this site less the exhaust and tune. I finally got a hold of a loaner PC so I'll be calling Eurocharged about the tune ... maybe next week(?). Let's see what that does. Hopefully I won't get the rough idle back.

Had my car on the Dyno today. Eurocharged told me that my numbers look great with the original tune, and they didn't need to tweek it for the 19# injectors.

I don't have Pre-Injectors dyno, but they said my car was putting out good numbers.

Another note, I still had a Strong/long Torque band with Rear cats removed and a free flowing muffler. I wish i could find someone willing to cut off my front cats.

Only deal i have with them, is sometimes it has some rough hot starts, but it always starts.

Highway, i got 32mpg easy until i bumped my speeds up well past the speed limit.

195.7 RWHP (Autostick)
206 Torque

I figured that put me at around 220hp to the crank. I wasn't very happy with that, so i went to this little site. I have no idea what my crank power really is but i know my car is peppier than the 215hp that comes stock.

Mind you this site just guesses, as every car and transmission is different. But it's probably a good start at guessing.

Stock HP 215 --- Guesstimated RWHP ---> 168 RWHP
Tuned HP 196 --- Guesstimated Crank ---> 248 Crank HP

Anyways, with all my mods, I had to find some way to make myself feel better

I'm guessing this site just assumes roughly 20% power loss for an RWD Auto Tranny. The figures very slightly depending on FWD, RWD, AWD - Manual, and Auto...
