Default Castrol Edge oil 0-40
Just spoken to halfords for an oil change they said they only use castrol is this a suitable equivilent to the recommended Mobil 1 as per the handbook

My wife has a BMW with the 3.0 six cylinder engine and it uses stricly Castrol 5W30.
If Castrol has a OW40 or 5W40 full synthetic that should be fine.
